Ideas of femininity come in all sorts of packages - Beautiful and soft, sexy and sleek, wicked, twisted, and dark.
BSG presents 14 female artists exhibiting in 'Ladies First', an artistic exploration of all that is good and evil about the female sex.
Come and see a range drawing, illustration and mixed media works produced by some of the best female artists from Melbourne and interstate.

Letters Out
Old Adelaide Gaol, Sunday February 21st 8.30-10pm.
Rowan Dignam and Josephine Bradley Scott joined creative forces for the 2010 Adelaide Fringe Festival! A big thank you to all those who stepped into cell block C and met the characters of Letters Out. Exhibition runs until March 13th.
"What's happening after dark in the Old Adelaide Gaol? Flowers grow from shadows, mysterious characters shuffle behind bars, and creatures tinker with dreams of escape. Explore a chilling Adelaide landmark by torchlight and find a fascinating world of creative writing and illustration. Sometimes the only way out is to venture within..."
This is a free event and is open to the public. If you are unable to make it to opening night, Letters Out will be open during the Old Adelaide Gaol opening hours up until March 13th.








The Venus RoomStop Violence Against Women, November 27th 2009.
The Venus Room was held at the beautiful substation in Newport to raise awareness and stop violence against woment. Visitors were welcome to pop down for live music, visual art, film and even facials. Josephine performed live art from 6.30pm. For more info please click the image below:

Get Trucked - Side Event to Semi-Permanent October 8th.
Brought to you by 696 Gallery, Get Trucked is an annual group exhibition presented by 696 to raise money for Canteen - The Australian Organisation for Young People with Cancer. This year over 200 Artists from different genres and artistic backgrounds have been asked to use there talents to decorate a Trucker cap. For opening details visit Semi-Permanent!

These walls can talk was launched by the Hon Kate Ellis MP on Tuesday 1st of September at Per Square Metre Gallery to mark the beginning of National Body Image and Eating disorder awareness week. 100% of proceeds from the exhibition sales were donated to The Butterfly Foundation. Whilst opening night artworks have sold the framed prints below are available through the lovely guys at Panelpop in Brunswick, Melbourne.
